Litha Giveaway

Congratulations to Yvonne, the winner of the Beltane giveaway! :)

For Litha I'm giving away a copy of The Gospel of Loki by Joanne Harris. The giveaway is international and it ends on June 19. Please read the rules before entering. Good luck everyone! :)

Again, Litha Giveaway is part of the Wheel of the Year Giveaways. There are 8 sabbats during the year and for every one I have a giveaway. As one sabbat is over the giveaway connected with it ends and a new one (connected with the next sabbat) starts. That’s why the giveaways last so long. I wanted continuity. Just to make things clear. :)

My favorite is Anna and the French Kiss! I read it last summer and loved it! But I think that Sophie Kinsella and Rosamunde Pilcher's books are perfect for summer :)

Thanks for sharing,

Wajiha

I don't really have any summer books, but I do have books that I tend to reread at least once a year. Ernest Cline's "Ready Player One," Jo Walton's "Among Others," and I suppose the closest thing to a summer read would be Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" series. I've been putting those off until the weather gets nicer because they always make me want to be more productive, and it's easier to be productive when I'm not trapped inside due to lousy snowy weather. :p

Hey, so glad to be a new subscriber:)
As for summer reads I tend to pick novels alternated with some YA. But maybe I do that all year round, I don't know… I just pick whatever I feel like and that tends to change a whole lot.

My favorite summer books are my favorite everyday book. Kind of. c: I just read everything that comes to hand and enjoy the last page of it. The difference between "summer books" and "other-seasons books" it's that they tend to last less since I just have more free time. :,D

Hmm. I'm not sure I have favorite books for any season, but I do periodically reread Shards of Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold (Sci fi) and Giants of the Frost by Kim Wilkins (Paranormal -- with Norse myth :) )

I like reading books where the weather outside matches the weather in the book... the summer book by tove janson is great. But I also love a good thriller and would recommend the millennium trilogy!
